Is a shampoo bar suitable for all types of pets, including dogs and cats?  

Yes, absolutely! We’ve heard from horse, dog, cat, and Guinea pig owners. Tangie pet shampoo bar is made with all natural ingredients to ensure safety and effectiveness. All of these ingredients are safe to use on dogs and cats, so your pet can enjoy a healthy bath without the worry of any adverse reactions. Of course, pets are just as individually unique as people, and different skin and coats. Closely observe your pet during bath time to check for any adverse reactions when using any new product. 

How often should I use the pet shampoo bar on my furry friend? 

When it comes to using a pet shampoo bar on your furry friend, the frequency of use can vary depending on factors such how often they roll in dirt (or worse) and your pet’s skin condition. Remember, a Tangie pet shampoo bar is concentrated and a little goes along way. A few good swipes of the bar over wet fur on the dirty spots are usually enough soap for a great clean.  

Can the shampoo bar effectively clean and remove odors from my pet’s coat?  

Like people, pets can have skin sensitivities to ‘fragrance/parfum’ and most pet shampoos contain heavy synthetic scent to leave your pet smelling clean. Healthy skin and coat with a bit of some fragrant essential oil naturally leaves pets smelling clean.

Can I use the pet shampoo bar on puppies or kittens?  

Yes, Tangie shampoo bar is safe to use on puppies and kittens, and other young pets. It is not recommended to use any harsh shampoo ingredients on kittens or puppies. Avoid using products with sulfates, parabens, phthalates, artificial fragrances and colors, as these can be irritating to young animals’ skin and coats. Tangie pet shampoo bar does NOT contain any of these ingredients.  

How long does a shampoo bar typically last compared to traditional pet shampoos? 

Tangie shampoo bar will give you an average of 50 washes, obviously depending on the size and dirt level of your pet. The bar will last a lot longer on a Chihuahua vs a Great Dane, unless the Chihuahua rolls in crap every day and the Dane sits on the couch every day. You get the picture. 😊 

Is the shampoo bar easy to lather and rinse off from my pet’s coat?  

You will be amazed how easy the shampoo bar lathers and how easy it is to apply the soap directly where you need it! You know how difficult it is to pour liquid shampoo on their belly and legs, without wasting a good amount of liquid. Does the shampoo bar have any specific benefits, such as promoting a shiny coat or reducing shedding?  

Coconut oil helps keep the fur moisturized and shiny. Lemongrass essential oil is beneficial for pets because it has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties, which help keep your pet’s coat healthy and free of dandruff. Additionally, it can leave a pleasant scent on your pet without the use of harsh perfumes or fragrances. Bentonite clay and aloe vera help soothe sensitive skin. 

Regular brushing and combing are recommended to help reduce fur shedding. It is the best method to remove loose hairs, and dirt or debris that may be attached to the fur, which can lead to skin irritations. Regular bathing with a gentle shampoo bar such as ours, to remove excess oils and other buildup on the coat, is a great defense against excess shedding.
